Daily Snap: Etihad
We flew from JFK to Abu Dhabi for our workshop project on sustainable water resources. As if 12+ hours wouldn't be long enough, we were grounded in New York for almost 3 additonal hours. I'd watched a whole movie before we even took off.

Day 354: 3.3.2010

Broadway near W 116th Street
There's nothing like a good street vendor. We skipped the Chees Burger and went straight for the falafel en route to Brooklyn. We were off to see Sam Mendes' production of As You Like It at BAM (of which I wasn't able to get any photos; the theatre was beautiful).

Daily Snap: Indoor S'mores
Day 314: 1.22.2010

Friend's place in Cold Spring, NY
Indoor wood stove s'mores. Leave the graham cracker and chocolate on of the stove long enough to premelt the chocolate, but not long enough to burn the graham cracker and have it stick to the stove. Burnt marshmallows are okay though, if you like that kinda thing.

Daily Snap: Chile
Garcia's Kitchen, Albuquerque
That's my brother and sister-in-law. They're getting their chile fix before the flight back to California. These pictures, per request, were taken before, during, and after bro shoveled in the good stuff. Maybe you can see the sweat on his brow. Yum.

Day 276: 12.14.2009

My kitchen
This quiche was another product of trying to clean out the pantry; it polished off the remaining feta, spinach, eggs, and onion. My mom might say, "Your pictures are all of food!", but that's because taking pictures of books and computer screens is even less interesting. Everyone's gotta eat!
