This apartment building and others like it remind me of Number 12, Grimmauld Place from Harry Potter. It's as if they don't belong and any passerby wouldn't see them sandwiched between the other buildings.

I ran by without my camera the other day and couldn't take a picture of the only bloom on all of the cacti around. Then I jogged by the next day (armed with my camera) and found so many, but still only on this particular cactus.

Right before our run, I bent down to take a picture of the blooming iris to show my out-of-town family (things don't bloom too often around here) when Java came over to check it out. What a ham.

Java and I took a short drive to mix it up a little and run on a different trail. There are great views of the river and apparently good rock climbing, too

After the evening snow the night before, Saturday was the most beautiful morning. Fresh snow covering blooms, bright blue ski, and a rare fog lingering around the hills. Java and I had a lovely, long run to take it all in. My friend's wedding shower was Saturday, too, but I forgot to get a picture of us!

Water Canyon

Hours after our Easter dinner, I decided to take an evening jog with Java. I am so blessed to have seen such a beautiful sight- constantly evolving sky-blue-pink with snow covered peaks in the distance. Ahhh.

Saddle between Water and Potrillo Canyons

I love the multitude of trails in the canyons near our house. There are trails every which way, both old and cut in to the tuff, like this one, or shallow emerging ones following arroyos. This one's like a bobsled course, but I've never tried that in the winter.
